Link belt bearings are fiercely rugged in construction, engineered to perform even in the face of outstanding misalignments, and tackling tasks with field adjustable clearance and incredible sealing options too. Link-belt roller bearings deliver reliability regardless of the application at hand. When durability is what you seek, choose link-belt bearings.
Link-belt roller bearings offer high performance, quality, and reliability for a variety of applications. Link-belt bearings feature a two-piece outer ring to help eliminate bearing failure.
Link-belt bearings feature two-piece outer rings, addressing the common issue of premature bearing failure– misalignment. The two-piece outer ring works to provide twice the static and dynamic misalignment capacity of other competing bearings in the market. The additional static misalignment capacity allows for inaccuracies in the installation process, ultimately reducing the potential for premature bearing failure as a result of error from improper installation. Additionally, dynamic misalignment capacity accommodates increased shaft movement during operation, reducing the potential for premature bearing failure resulting from movement and imbalance. The two-piece outer ring can address common bearing issues out in the field– without the need for replaced bearings. Common problems such as excessive vibration, high operating temperatures, noise, high speed, and shock can be easily addressed through quick internal clearance adjustments that can be performed in the field.
Link-belt bearings also provide amazing sealing options, and bearing seals can be changed in the field. This allows for the flexibility necessary to modify bearings to applications, without requiring total replacement.
Link-belt offers a split housed spherical roller bearing drop-in which is compatible with most standard systems. This link-belt drop-in can be converted to a fixed or expansion bearing in the same housing, and features dimpled flats which provide for ease of installation. Additionally, the link-belt housing can be drilled and tapped to accommodate sensors, and includes pry bar slots that make easy work of opening the housing halves.
