Features of Heavy-Duty Camrol® Bearings
Contamination resistant– Even a tiny amount of contamination can significantly reduce bearing life, but Camrol® bearings feature rubber lip seals needed for increased protection against harmful contaminants. The rubber lip seal is also pointed inward adding improved grease retention for smoother operation.
Long lasting– Large lubricant reservoirs help these bearings stay lubricated for maintenance-free operation. These heavy-duty CAMROL® bearings can last up to 5 times longer than their standard needle bearing cam follower counterparts in lube-for-life tests. You’ll love their superior performance.
Better thrust capability– For standard needle bearing cam followers, handling heavy radial loads is no problem. But that said, thrust loads can sometimes cause early failure. For this reason, McGill® CAMROL® bearings feature double rows of cylindrical rollers designed to help it withstand incidental thrust that can sometimes accompany cam follower operation. This double row design also allows for high speed applications, as well as a dynamic rating for extended fatigue life.
